The seminar was hosted by the Science Center for Gas Turbine (SCGT), focusing on themes such as "Next-Generation Transonic Aircraft Engines, New Supersonic Civil Aircraft, and Fuel-Flexible and Efficient Gas Turbines."
In his opening remarks, Dr. Yancheng FU, Associate Professor and Head of the International Cooperation Platform of SCGT at Beihang University, welcomed distinguished experts and scholars from both countries. He introduced the project background and research progress of the center, emphasizing the hope that the event would provide an opportunity for rich exchanges and inspire innovative research and future collaborations. This seminar not only continued the historical technological cooperation between China and France but also symbolized a joint pursuit of transformative breakthroughs in aviation and energy production fields. The seminar was moderated by Professor Dingxi WANG from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
Professor Nicolas Gascoin from the French National Institute for Applied Sciences delivered an impressive presentation on virtualization viscosity sensors for onboard energy management. Professor Sabeur Msolli from The University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) in France shared cutting-edge developments in nickel-based superalloys. Associate Professor Zhe LI from École Centrale de Nantes introduced his latest research on an improved Gas Kinetic Flux Solver (GKFS), a technology designed for simulating supersonic continuous and rarefied flows. Professor Dingxi WANG of Northwestern Polytechnical University gave a report focused on unsteady gas dynamics flow numerical analysis. Professor Ruqiang YAN from Xi'an Jiaotong University presented his research on Signal Processing Information Neural Networks (SPINN).
The success of the China-France Seminar on Aero-Power has strengthened the exchange and collaboration between China and France in the field of aeroengines, providing new insights and solutions to the challenges faced by the aviation propulsion sector.
