The “Integrated Design of Materials and Structure” parallel forum of the 2nd International Conference on Green Aviation (ICGA2024) was held in Chengdu, Sichuan, on November 6-7, 2024.
This parallel forum was jointly hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University and HEXAGON. Experts shared cutting-edge research and applications on integrated materials and structural design through keynote speeches, academic discussions, and technical demonstrations. The forum focused on exploring the interaction between material properties and structural behavior, aiming to promote interdisciplinary collaboration between materials science and structural engineering.
Attendees unanimously agreed that the interplay between material selection and structural design is crucial in contemporary engineering practice.
